Bri earned her degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Physical Education and Strength and Conditioning and discovered early on how transformative consistent training can be, both physically and mentally.

At Iron Gorilla Barbell, Bri supports the brand and community through storytelling and social media. She focuses on highlighting the work being done on the platform, celebrating progress, and capturing the culture of strength, discipline, and consistency that defines Iron Gorilla.

Bri believes strength training is about more than numbers on the bar. It’s about confidence, commitment, and showing up day after day. Her work helps ensure Iron Gorilla’s story reflects the athletes who train there and the environment they help create.

Jacob Clark

Owner | Iron Gorilla Operations & Equipment

Jake has been involved in the sport of powerlifting since 2015, competing and coaching athletes at a national level. His path into coaching began after his own weight loss journey, which led him to help others build strength, confidence, and healthier, more active lives.

Jake owns the strength-focused experience within Iron Gorilla Barbell. He brings a straightforward, practical approach to coaching, emphasizing effort, consistency, and getting out of your own way. His goal is to help athletes start where they are, commit to the process, and build momentum through training.

In addition to coaching, Jake oversees equipment decisions and the ongoing development of the Iron Gorilla space. He’s responsible for keeping a steady rotation of new and unique training equipment, helping ensure Iron Gorilla remains a top destination for strength training in the Cedar Valley while supporting both performance and long term growth.

Kate Bargman

Owner | Operations, Marketing, Systems & Finance

Kate has spent over a decade immersed in strength training across multiple disciplines, shaping her belief that strength should be built with purpose, intention, and longevity in mind.

Her approach to fitness is grounded in consistency over perfection. She believes progress comes from doing the simple things well, showing up consistently, and committing to the process even when motivation is low.

Much of Kate’s work happens behind the scenes, where she owns the systems that support long-term growth and consistency at Iron Gorilla Barbell. This includes operations, marketing, and the tools that help maintain a focused, efficient training environment. Kate believes strength training should support real life, not compete with it, and is passionate about building systems that allow athletes to train hard for the long haul.

At Iron Gorilla Barbell, Megan plays a key role in maintaining the standards and systems that support serious training. She believes progress comes from consistency, attention to detail, and putting in the work day after day. Her mindset reflects a simple philosophy: don’t talk about it, be about it.

Megan is deeply committed to creating an environment where athletes can train with confidence, stay accountable to themselves, and pursue progress without distraction. Her influence helps ensure Iron Gorilla remains a focused, welcoming space built for people who want to train with intention.

Travis believes progress comes from patience, consistency, and trusting the process. That mindset shows up in the way he approaches the gym itself, paying attention to the details that support serious training over the long term.

Behind the scenes, Travis is the guy who keeps Iron Gorilla operating smoothly. If something needs to be fixed, adjusted, or improved, he’s usually already on it. His impact is felt through the reliability of the space, the equipment, and the overall training environment.

Travis is committed to continuing to grow as a leader and supporting Iron Gorilla as a place where strength athletes can focus, train hard, and do the work.
